My mother and I had such a lovely evening to wrap up our vacation. Our waitress was charming, and all items arrived with care and beauty. We particularly recommend the red sangria.
Thank you for our beautiful evening.

I recently dined at Seler Restaurant in Thunder Bay and was blown away by the quality of their food. To start, I ordered the Beetroot Tartare appetizer and was impressed by the bold flavors and fresh ingredients. The beetroot was perfectly paired with a tangy dressing and the dish was beautifully presented.
For my main course, I decided on the Casarecce Pasta with Healthy goat cheese This dish was a masterpiece, combining hearty pasta with a rich and flavorful sauce made from a mixture of vegetables and herbs.
I also tried the Healthy Brownie for dessert which was special request to Chef. I was pleasantly surprised by how rich and satisfying the brownie was, despite being made with healthier ingredients. It was the perfect end to my meal and I appreciated the option of a healthy dessert.
Overall, Seler Restaurant offers a fantastic menu of healthy options that are both delicious and well-presented. I was truly impressed by the quality of the food and would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a healthy and satisfying dining experience."

This is a regular stop for us. We enjoy it every time.
My one gripe/suggestion is that the menu has not changed and I end up eating the same thing every time.
I wish Seler would change their menu at least seasonally and offer up some specials.
I eat gluten free and they are great to accommodate allergies and food intolerances, but the menu is so limited that I end up eating the same couple of dishes each time.
With such a limited population to cater to, having a limited menu makes loyal foodies like me go to other restaurants to get some variety. Even the dessert menu hasn't changed. I mean, I like creme brule as much as anyone, but at least change the flavour weekly for a bit of variety. Variety is the spice of life and in that regard, Seler is becoming a bit boring.
I wouldn't even bother with other restaurants if Seler had a more diverse menu. They really are that good.

This place is so good. I went there with my girlfriend and let me tell you, ambiance, the hostess and food all 5 star quality. From appetizers to desserts and anything in between awesome. Best food I had in Thunder Bay, hands down.

A hidden treasure in Thunder Bay.
A menu with variety, generous portions and great service. (Thanks to Carmine).
A restaurant with depth of flavors; flavors that subtly complement each other. A kitchen with chefs that understand food.
The shrimp appetizer had a sublime creole sauce that teased with fennel in the background; the Caesar salad was generous with the garlic dressing not overpowering, generously topped with grated cheese and house made grated bacon; the salmon was made as requested with a sauce that worked so well with the fish; the pork tenderloin was perfect with the rice and charred broccolini; all finished with an unbelievable dessert of a chocolate “biscuit” and ice cream of not one, but three portions. Of course, complemented with an espresso.
So decadent. And as you can read it was an experience I wish many others should enjoy.
