George's Market is amazing!! Their gift baskets are perfect! They are very accommodating. I wanted to give my boyfriend's family a condolence gift and I had requested it a little last minute (as they typically require at least 24hrs to prepare a basket) and they were able to do one up for me the same day and delivered it within only a couple hours! I was blown away! The basket was so beautifully packaged and very reasonably priced. Highly recommend them for any occasion!

Local grocery store. It may not have the selection of a large corporation, but it has most of the items that I need. I mainly go there for the meat and baking section, and I like picking up some of the pre-made pierogi and cabbage rolls. Yeah. I'm lazy like that sometimes.
I also purchased big assorted gift basket from George’s. I ended up buying it for a hotel front desk clerk that I was rude to during a regrettable night of drinking. It was a tremendous gift basket, but I’m sure it didn’t nearly make up for the hassle I had caused that poor guy. Now that I think of it, I should have put a 20 in the envelope with the card to juice it up a bit more.

Most everything in this place is priced outrageously, save for the meat. I won't buy anything other than meat here. Sure, they're "local," but why does being local mean you have to charge sometimes double or more than other stores? You come out of here with one bag, when you can go just up the street, spend the same or less, and come out with 3 bags. An onion is an onion. Just because you try to make your store look fancy doesn't mean that that onion is going to taste and different from the one you get at Metro.

I make good money, I dress decently well but I've never felt more unwelcome than shopping at George's Market. The constant staring, following and unwelcomed gestures that other melanin-challenged shoppers don't get to "enjoy"

Love George's Market. Lots of local products. They also do fantastic sandwich trays.
