If I could give this company -10 stars I would. We purchased many products and installation from them (garage doors, front and back doors and countless windows). Installation and arrangement with Sean and his guys was always excellent. Unfortunately, what came next, Sean’s professionalism and expertise cannot make up for. We started to notice broken seals in 3 bedroom windows a few years after installed. We contacted SRS immediately, remembering “lifetime warranty”. At that time, Tamara had asked we follow up another time as there had been some internal “struggles” with the business she explained to us. Understanding, and knowing we had lifetime warranty we told her we could wait and respected her business. Months later, we contacted her again, provided photos and details. She then told us they dropped that supplier and we must contact the company directly - well, like SRS they did not assume responsibility- they have not even answered a single email or call relating to my windows - but I guess that is my problem now, not SRS. Also funny, SRS took my money, not the distributor. Now a few months later the locking mechanism in our front door malfunctioned, to the point where we could not lock and unlock the door, due to the safety of our family, my husband “permanently” locked our door until we could find a solution- which we did, another company in town who could get us the lock but required the model # etc. when my husband contacted Tamara she said her company would look in to it as it may still be under warranty and they could get it. Great! (Or so we thought). The part took approximately 6 weeks to come in, after many email and in person follow ups, all emails were directed at Tamara with a please and thank you. Frustration was shown when her customer service dept lied about order dates and when it should be in. Tamara then delivered the part to our broken front door one evening for my husband to install himself, again there was frustration with the run around and we just wanted it fixed. Well, once the box was opened it was the wrong part. Immediately my husband returned the part, but then forgot part of the box so returned that as well. In one of my husbands emails he stated this was “unbelievable” as we had to wait even further. Tamara then sent an email stating they would not assist us with the part anymore due to our rudeness and provided us with the suppliers direct contact. We have been without a front door for 8 weeks. (At least). The doors are 7 years old. Between the amount of emails and back and forth and zero acceptance of responsibility and often times being completely unprofessional, stay far away from this business. We will return to Baylock and Key, who was willing to help us with our front door lock promptly, when we mistakenly attempted to trust Tamara one last time. Darcie Brown
We had our front window installed back in August 2020, their service was great with Sean and the install team, we go back to winter Nov 2023 one of the seals on the window goes. contact them about this and have to get it looked at April 12 2024, yes it is covered by warranty. Email July 7 after email Aug 25......... finally I send a email in Sept 2024 to ask for a date to install (not knowing if they even have it) as cold weather will be coming. Get a date to finally get the replacement done Sept 20 2024!!!!!! Amazing finally getting it fixed to noticing right after install that the glass is not tinted:| Sean even noticed it right after install. After an email AGAIN Sept 20 clarifying that there should have been tinted on it Tamara tells me regardless, we will get a new one order up for you. Today I'm still getting the run around to get second replacement done. Im not happy with the customer service I have been receiving with this issue and how it has been handled. we were also looking to replace 8 more windows in our home, I'm at a point were I just want my front window fixed and that's it!!!!!
I was really impressed with the Work that was done on the windows Our apartment building on Ross Street. The workers were efficient, very polite they cleaned up after themselves and did an excellent job. You wouldn’t even know they were there except for the beautiful new windows. I want to Thank you very much. The boss overlooked the job and was there working beside his men l couldn’t have asked for better efficient workers thank you. Was told that Sean would come out for quote. Appointment set for 8:30 am, Then changed to 930 -10:00 No one showed. I informed them around noon. They called back, apologized and said Sean was busy and would swing by in a couple of hours, and again, no one showed.
We needed to insulate and side our 100 yr old home. Called for estimates from 3 different companies and Tamara was the only one who showed up. She was running late for our appointment and she actually phoned to tell us she would be late! Now there's a first! Once the work started, their crew were professional and knowledgeable and worked their tails off. Sean would stop by often to make sure the work was being done properly. They did a great job and we are so happy with the results. We will recommend SRS Doors and Windows to everyone I know.
