Casual, busy and good. Small town diner with good homemade food. The onion soup is a nice surprise and the homemade hamburgers are very good.

After arriving to the nearby Telstar Motel late, we were very thankful that the staff at The Eddy Restaurant were kind enough to allow our order shortly before they closed. The staff was very friendly and the food was amazing. My sister and I ordered the house made mozza stix and the butter fingers with sweet potato fries and must say that they were some of the best we have ever had. Perfectly breaded and seasoned, and the dip that came with the sweet potato fries was delicious! I am very happy we were able enjoy such great quality homemade food before having to get back on the road. If you are ever in the Kakabeka Falls area, this place is a must try! Will definitely stop there again on our next trip out West!
Sorry the pictures aren't better, but the smell was so appetizing that we dug in before I remembered to get pictures hahaha

Large parking lot. A little rundown inside and out. Service was good though. Menu includes salads, sandwiches, wraps and burgers. I had the Reuben. Was pretty good. Included fries.

Awesome burger joint. Me and my family went here for a quick eat-in before cousin’s game. I had The Eddy burger which would be their Novemburger for the United Way Fund.

Kakabeka has just a couple restaurants to visit. However, The Eddie is at the top of the food chain. If you’re passing through to go camping or just having a quick visit to see the waterfall. You should do yourself a favor and stop in for some excellent food and service. This food is legit. Real ingredients and everything is made from scratch.
There is outdoor dining available as well as indoor. All the tables indoors have barriers for COVID protection. Great place to bring the family.
My server was friendly and helpful. The food was tremendous. I was there for breakfast. I had a four egg Everything Omelet with home fries, dry rye and a side of sausage. I may have over done it a bit, but I finished every last bite without complaint.
The next time I'm doing work out in the Kakabeka area, I'll be making The Eddie a priority for my lunch break.
