The alternator on my van gave out on our family trip in Thunder Bay so I called Preferred Auto. Malcolm recommended an excellent towing and was able to fit me in right away. His team took great care of me and got our van fixed same day so that we could continue on our road trip. Amazingly well run shop. Price was very fair too. Thank you Malcolm!

I brought both my cars to Preferred Auto last week. The service was exceptional. The staff are friendly and honest. Everyone was helpful. All my concerns with my tires and exhaust systems were addressed. I would highly recommend. Call J-Bird right now! She will set you up.

Despite the fact that Preferred Auto was solidly booked when my vehicle recently died, they managed, somehow, to find time to help me by Fitting In Me/My Vehicle between Appointments. In fact, they even Repaired it earlier than expected!
Additionally, the Staff at Preferred Auto are Friendly, Competent, Loyal, Trustworthy, and Honest and their Communication with Customers is convenient and fantastic.
Moreover, after my Dad passed away from Cancer, I felt lost when it came to Mechanical Issues - especially without his advice and guidance. However, after learning of my Dad’s Passing, not only were the Staff at Preferred Auto sympathetic and understanding, but they also stepped up to provide me with assistance. They have also answered every question I have asked, in addition to explaining any problems with my vehicle that crop up, and they have given me excellent advice, even when it means that they will not make as much money from each visit to them!
In the past, they have also worked with me to find the best way to tackle any issues I had with my vehicle. Even more importantly, they have NEVER attempted to take advantage of me and they have NOT ever pushed unnecessary Services, Repairs, or Products onto me, or other Customers who have ‘None-to-Little’ Mechanical Knowledge.
Furthermore, knowing that Preferred Auto will always come up with a Plan &/or Solution for Fixing any Oroblems with my vehicle, gives me a peace that I never felt, before taking my Vehicle to them.

Preferred Auto provided the best customer service I have received in a long time! I was dealing with a flat tire, managed to get it to the shop and they got me in right away. Come to find out I had 3 tires with issues so they set me up to run home to get my other set of tires and come back and get them changed over. Keeping in mind this was decided at 4pm when they close at 5 and I still had to go get the tires and bring them back. They stayed till I was back on the road and only charged me for a tire changeover even though they tested my faulty tires and did an inspection on the vehicle. They ran through some concerns with me but no pressure to book in with them to have the work done. This entire interaction earned them a repeat customer. 5 stars start to finish!!
