Called to check for out of province safety inspections, sadly they do not. But very courtious over the phone and recommended alternate shops. Cheers!

The best decision I made when purchasing my used car (2013 Ford Edge) in April was taking it straight to Wilf’s for inspection and service. The owner and staff at this shop are honest, thorough, transparent, and next-level skilled when compared to other mechanics. Unfortunately I don’t live in Thunder Bay anymore and several mechanics since Wilf’s, including a Ford dealership, have yet to spot some of the issues that Wilf’s identified right away for me. Thanks to Wilf’s exceptional service, I have been able to claim thousands of dollars in extended warranty repairs, including a water pump replacement, so that my 2013 now drives like new and no further damage is caused by driving a vehicle in need of major repair. My extended warranty has already paid for itself 2-fold. Despite living 1500km away I would seriously consider shopping for my next vehicle in the Thunder Bay area, just so that Wilf’s can be the one to perform the pre-purchase inspections.

Wilfs service is awesome. We move to thunder Bay approximately four blocks up on empress. Since 1978 we have always dealt with wilf, who used to sell gas. He rebuilt our van, Volkswagen beetle and every car we've owned we go to Wilfs. His son bill runs it now and the service is awesome. We have never ever had any problems with repairs. Rating scale would be 10 out of 10. Actually it's more than 14 lol.
